About me

Stephanie Smith holds a multifaceted role within Platte County School District #2, serving as the MTSS Director, WYBILT grant manager, and Title interventionist. With a strong background in the science of reading and instruction, she plays a pivotal role as the district's Keys to Beginning Reading Facilitator. Currently, Stephanie is actively pursuing certification as the IMSE district trainer, further enriching her expertise.
Having been an integral part of the PCSD#2 elementary RTI team for an extended period, Stephanie brings invaluable experience to her current position as the district’s MTSS Coordinator, a role she has adeptly fulfilled for three years. Under her guidance, the elementary team has streamlined processes, with successful implementation extending into the junior high grades.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Stephanie finds joy in family time, outdoor activities, unleashing her creativity in her craft room, and contributing her time and efforts to various community organizations through volunteering.
